I must apologise for the lack of activity on here recently! Not even a single Christmas message or a Happy New Year, so I am sorry, but the thing is we have just been that busy! We have just completed our new barn which now takes us up above 50 and they are nearly all full, but of course we always have room for more so dont worry about that.

We have had a mixed bunch of results over the festive period and into the New Year, the little stars would have to be Toolatetodelegate whos form figures since I last updated are 23322, and Bohemian Rhapsody who when he came to us had finished last in his last five runs has now been placed a further four times in his last five runs, would have been five out of five but for unseating two out! They are both the easiest to do, train and race. The girls in the yard love them and they get throroughly spoilt!

Another great run was the first run of the season from Veauce De Sivola who finished a very close up third at Ludlow under good conditional Jonjo O'Neil Jnr who gave him a never say die ride. He then headed to Lingfield but unfortunately the pace of the race didnt suit, but he will now head to Lingfield for the race he has been second in and won last year, to hopefully win again! He has enjoyed some days out hunting this season as well which we havent done before and the horses love it, we took seven horses out a couple of weeks ago and they all had a great time, although maybe some of the girls arms are a little longer now! It is something we will try and keep doing every once in a while as it was good fun for the horses and the staff.

We have a couple of new horses in now, another for Inspire Racing, a lovely big grey filly that will be making her debut soon, most likely in a bumper, shes very nicely bred and is a fair size!

Tara River after his awful injury back last year is back in work which is great, fingers crossed he stays in one piece as he is such a talented individual.

Chestnut Storm got her season back on track when nearly snatching second at Lingfield the other day, I am really looking forward to seeing her over hurdles on better ground through the Spring.

Rocket Ronnie moved on to pastures new recently after being claimed to go to Ben Paulings, although a complete no show on his first run for him, we wish him the best of luck, he did well for us running some great races, one of the best beaten only a head at 100-1 in a novice hurdle at Exeter.

We have two new additions to the team as well in Ollie & Smudge, our pointer and jack russell puppies, causing havoc most days they have already settled in well and have everyone running around after them.

We currently have a nice selection of horses for sale ranging from yearlings, two year olds, three year olds and older, both unraced and unnamed as well as older handicappers. Please feel free to get in touch to find out more. Our training fees are very competitive and we are always looking for new owners to join our team, we are a very friendly, family run yard that takes pride in looking after the horses & owners and making sure they all achieve their full potential in the best possible surroundings.

If you would like to come and visit us do get in touch and we will welcome you to come and see the horses on the gallops and you can enjoy one of Katrinas famous breakfast rolls!
