So here we are, in the very late stages of 2014! A very productive year it has been too, although its not quite finished yet! Last year we finished 2013 on a high with a winner on New Years eve!

This year we have two runners left....

In The Crowd and Green Du Ciel are heading to Taunton on Tuesday for the same race, a handicap hurdle. The trip should suit Green Du Ciel a lot more, although the ground may not be in his favour and he still may need a little more help from the handicapper! In The Crowd goes there for the racing club after some solid efforts recently, the ground will suit him although the trip may be on the sharp side. We are sure he will stay 3 miles in time, but we are also sure he can win over shorter first! They are both in good form. Harry Bannister rides In The Crowd, a very promising young amateur rider and will take 5lb off, as he nearly has top weight. Green Du Ciel has yet to have a jockey confirmed.

Follow The Tracks will head to Exeter to hopefully see in a very good New Year, he is due to run in the novice handicap hurdle. He went to Exeter just over a week ago for a 16 runner amateur race. Harry Bannister rode him, sent off a 50-1 shot, the public obviously expected him to run a shocker! Well, instead he ran a screamer....making the running for most of the way, he hit the last two flights, lost a little momentum but battled the winner all the way to the line. Only to be beaten a neck! The winner is a progressive horse and was on a 3 timer, but we beat another 3 last time out winners. Green Du Ciel ran in the same race but did not stay 2m 5f, especially on that softer ground, but he came back safe and sound and just needed a little freshening up!

All being well he will back that run up next time, he came out of the race well and is in good order!

We welcomed another new recruit in the last week, Under Review, an 8yr old sprinter that has won 4 times! He has come from the same owners as Green Du Ciel and Ballyheigue. He was in Ireland but has had a couple of short spells with trainers here and has just lost his way a little so we hope to rekindle his enthusiasm for racing!

We are now in the process of building a new staff accommodation block which will be very smart and another great asset to the yard.

Wishing you all the very best, and thankyou all for your continued support, onwards and upwards from here!
