Firstly, Happy New Year to you all! I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our owners, staff, horses and everyone else that helps keep the wheels turning here and has done over the last year, hopefully we can build on what was acheived last year and progress the same again! If we can that will be quite something, but we continue to strive for success!

We have had some good runners over the last couple of weeks, Chestnut Storm went to Southwell with Mitch riding her for the first time in an amateur flat race, again she ran a cracker finishing second, shes a very straightforward filly but does take a while to get rolling and was getting there a little too late with the winner having got first run on her but even so it was a great run and Mitch gave her a good ride! She will make a smashing jumper, all she does is stay and goes on any ground which is great. She is now having a small break before going jumping!

Mowhoob ran a solid race at Kempton last week, he is a lovely little horse but can bleed and isnt the most consistent so it was nice to see him run well.

Myself, Daisy & Dayna made the long trip to Chelmsford the other day in torrential rain with two intended runners on the all weather, much to our dismay the snow started and didnt stop! Heavier and heavier until unfortunately the meeting was abandoned, a surprise for an all weather track, especially as snow was forecast but nothing was done before hand to even attempt to counter it! A shame as we were hopeful of two good runs.

We have another new face here now, another homebred from Mr & Mrs Eavis, a lovely little 3yr old by Sixties Icon, he is unraced and will be ready for the flat season.

It has been very cold here in the last week or so but the team have done a great job and their hardwork is always very much appreciated.

We have a couple of broodmares for sale now, both very well bred NH mares from top familys, so do get in touch for more details 07975754622.

We have plenty of entries over the next week, it will be good to get Byron Blue back on the track after his little setback earlier in the season as he had been going so well, although a mid season break wouldnt have done him any harm as he tries so hard in his races, he is a great character to have. Veauce De Sivola is going back chasing after having a great first run of the season over hurdles, he is in great form and he deserves to win a race soon, which we are confident he will!

Tara River, Desirable & Black Anthem are very near to making their debuts for the yard, three very different horses, Tara River a class horse over hurdles in France winning several listed races is now set to go chasing, Desirable lost her way for Hughie Morrison so it will be good to see if she can regain some form and Black Anthem is a lovely, big, srapping horse for the future.

Many thanks for taking the time to read once again.
