No runners since I last updated as a few are now are out in the field enjoying their holidays, we have plenty of grass and they are now used to living out, they have their fly sheets on in the day to keep the flies away which keeps them very happy. They are all looking nice and round again!

Very exciting news, we have two new arrivals here, a lovely 4yr old gelding by Milan, although he does not actually turn 4 untill next month, he already stands at 16.2 and is built like a tank. His pedigree is outstanding, being a half brother to multiple graded performers already. He has a fantastic attitude and a lovely way about him, he is currently enjoying some grass while in the process of being ridden away. We cannot wait to get him going and he really could be something special! At the minute he is known at 'Mac'.

Another new addition to the yard is Sky Watch, a horse we have followed for a very long time. We were the underbidder when he sold to Warren Greatrex at DBS at the end of 2013, he was on the recommendation of Harry Derham who thought a lot of the horse. Since then he hasn't managed to win although he has posted some solid placed efforts. We are delighted to now have him and we are sure we can find the key to him and continue the progression of the good horse he once showed he was when bolting up in a Sandown bumper beating some very smart horses. He is a lovely chap and already a bit of a favourite, Gavin tells us his name is 'Swatchy' as we were struggling to find a stable name for him! He is in work now but doesn't want the ground to quick so we will wait for something suitable when he is ready, he will be great fun through the winter I am sure.

News on the others, Norfolk Sky is very well and will be heading for a gallop round Kempton soon, Madam Be will be heading to Worcester for a Novice Chase at the end of the month where she will be shown in a much better light. Martys Magic is cantering nicely and is looking like the good horse we think he is, Ballyheigue is due to run at Bath on Friday evening with Hayley Turner up. Under Review is a nightmare, we have him ready to run and he goes and either pulls a shoe off or gets cast, but he will get there at some point! Castlemorris King is trotting at the minute, taking it nice and steady, we hope to have him back for a light winter campaign before prepping for the Cheltenham Festival in March where he would hopefully run in the County, a long way off but something realistic to aim at! Tuffstuff is desperate for a run, he is in the best form we have ever had him, he is as fit as he has ever been but he needs some rain! He even had an entry for Perth this weekend but that looks unlikely aswell! If he doesn't make Fontwell on Tuesday he will join the others in the field for 6 weeks! Last but by far not least is Green Du Ciel, it looks at though he may head to Salisbury on Tuesday for a spin on the level before going back jumping, he is in great form and as enthusiastic as ever!

The fields are getting very long here so won't be far off cutting for bales which is good, the barn had a slight hold up but is taking shape nicely and will be done soon. The office is now very smart, with all the latest gizmos to keep us up to date! I will have pictures up of the new ones later this week.

I hope you are all well and enjoying a bit of sun, many thanks for reading.
