Getting into Gear...

No runners since we last updated, but still very busy. Daisy has started getting her clippers out, three or four have now been done and look very smart, with the rest still hanging on to their summer coats well, though I am sure they will need doing within the next week or two. We have been very busy in the yard, although it makes everything a lot easier now we have moved in the barn. Everything is much closer together and works very well. We have had plenty of interest in the yard and horses this week from prospective owners which is great, just the right time of year to be getting noticed.

We 'should' have plenty of runners now in the next two weeks, with entries for Sky Watch at Plumpton tomorrow, Tuffstuff at Exeter on Tuesday, he will come on for the run and it looks a competitive enough place to start, Stephen Hero & Jopaan are heading to Towcester on Thursday, Jopaans last run for a mark which is good and we take a good 7lb off Steve with Mikey Heard.

The following week we have Under Review heading to Kempton, Shanandoa heading to Lingfield and Follow The Tracks heading to Taunton! So a very busy period coming up.

After much deliberation regards Shanandoa's come back run, we were heading to Cheltenham for the listed mares bumper, a race we feel she could earn some very valuable black type but after looking at pro's and con's for both we felt she didnt need such a hard race for her first outing of the season, especially being a 4yr old filly. If she is half as good as we think she is there will be plenty more opportunities to earn that black type, fingers crossed anyway!

They are all in cracking form and it will be good to get the winter ones their initial run, as I am sure they will all improve for it, its a long season after all.

I do hope you are all well and enjoy the rest of the weekend. Here's hoping I will have plenty of runners to talk about next week!
