Not too many runners in the last few weeks, there are very few horses that will handle this ground, Toolatetodelegate has twice won on firm ground at Bath but she ran there the other day and it was so quick she just wouldnt let herself down on it. So we have kept the majoirty at home, all bouncing for a run but there is hopefully going to be some rain at some point and we can get them all back out again.

The jumpers arent so bad as they water so well, Clearly Capable ran a brilliant race at Newton Abbot, only just to be chinned on the line, he was then subsequently claimed by Dai Burchell so we wish him all the best. From arriving a very poor maiden in just nine runs for us he won twice and was placed on another two occasions, and would have won a third but for falling so we were very proud of his achievements for us.

Scrumpy Boy has made a solid start to his chasing career being placed in his first two runs so far, disappointinly Worcester overwatered last time and he needs it quick so it just hindered him a little but he will have his head in front soon I am sure.

In other news we now have all the broodmares and foals back at the yard and they look great. Norfolk Sky is confirmed back to Cityscape, Madam Be to Passing Glance, maiden mare Chesnut Storm also to Passing Glance and Annie Kenney to Swiss Spirit. All six foals are doing well which is great to see.
