Frustration & Patience in Equal Measures...

The horses have been in good order this summer and out of the six individual jumpers to have run so far five of them have been placed, and with the flat horses we have been in three photo finishes, missing out all three times. As well as multiple other placed efforts from the team it has been very frustrating that none have got their head in front yet. I guess with most the main problem is their consistancy so the handicapper just will not relent. There is nothing you can do apart from carry on, work away and it will happen. The horses are happy, healthy and running well which is great. They will get their turn for that I am sure.

In other news we really have been securing some real fire power for the current season. With two new recruits At Its Own Expense (6yr old 125 rated chaser) and Dolciano Dici (7yr old 135 rated hurdler) to go with Dan McGrue (136 rated hurdler), Tristan De Gane (Placed both his p2ps), Mister Moretti (placed in his p2p just the other day after falling first time when in contention) and some very exciting young bumper horses we cannot wait to run them. They will all be out soon.

Toolatetodelegate is having a short break after running a little flat on her last two starts she has had a good summer finishing in the first 4 six times since June. She is a little star and will be back out after Christmas.

Johni Boxit has been placed on the flat and over hurdles since racing resumed, he is ready to run but ideally needs some good ground and being lowly rated isnt ideal as when he does find it he doesnt get a run, hopefully the races will sort themselves out soon and their will be more oppourtunities.

The enigmatic Gates Pass is probably the most frustrating individual, he has so much ability but only likes to use a little when it comes to race day, but yet again he has been running well, also having been placed five times both on the flat and ove hurdles since racing resumed, hopefully one day he will get his head in front!

Mystic Court, having lost his way badly for Ben Pauling, his form figures reading F PU 13th 6th PU & PU when arriving with us, in his first 4 runs for us he was placed three times, he has his confidence back and is a happy horse again which is great. We take real pleasure in turning horses form around that have lost their way.

On a similar note we have welcomed back Parker's Boy & his owner Tim Parker. After a short spell with Robin Dickin he has lost his form badly after being placed for us back in Jan, he is now off an 11lb lower mark, hopefully we can turn him back around for his owners.

We have also welcomed Anniemation with new owners to the yard in Mr Buckley, another horse to have lost his way after looking a promising two year old, fingers crossed.

Sirbowtieman is due to make his handicap debut in the coming weeks, he had a holiday to grow a little more and strenghten which he has done, he should makle into a nice dual purpose type.

Several of these are still for sale, so do get in touch to find out more.
