A little late in writing but I must start with the sterling effort from Byron Blue at Southwell the other day. After a very promising run back at Stratford only the previous week he headed to Southwell with a mammoth 12st 3lb on his back and under an excellent front running ride from Dave Crosse he never got headed to beat the short priced, well fancied favourite by the smallest of margins. A little while since the last blog but we have been very busy and the horses are in great order... Clearly Capable bounced back to winning ways back at Newton Abbot under Dickie Johnson to make it two from four since joining the yard, very good considering he came over a poor maiden with not even a placing to his name. He ground them into submission once again from the front showing true battling...
